AERIAL LIFT/ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM

Course Description: This course is for employees who operate an aerial lift (Scissor Lift/Boom Lift). This course will cover proper vehicle operation, the hazards of operating the vehicle in the workplace, and the requirements of the OSHA/MIOSHA Standard Part 32 for Aerial Work Platforms. A boom support and scissor lift will be utilized for this training.
Upon successful completion, a Training Certificate is provided to the employer.

- The space is not designed for continuous human occupancy

FALL PROTECTION AUTHORIZED USER

Course Description: This course is designed for individuals working at height and offers an awareness of the issues involved with fall protection. This course focuses on the theory of fall protection and the need to protect workers at height. Participants are introduced to the legislation governing fall protection as well as the components of a fall protection system including holding devices, anchorages, connectors and rescue. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate acknowledging they have met or exceeded OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements as an Authorized Person.
