Who Should Take OSHA-10 Construction Online Industry Training?

What is the OSHA 30 Certification?

The 30-hour class is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility.  OSHA 30 course are programs designed to introduce workers to their basic rights and protections under OSHA and give them initial awareness training on common safety topics for their industry. OSHA 30 do not fulfill an employer’s safety training obligations by themselves.

How Can I Receive OSHA 30 Hour Training?

You can take the OSHA 30 hour courses one of two different ways; First, you can have an OSHA-DSoS Trainer come to your site and teach the class for your group. Or you can attend DSoS facility and receive OSHA 30-training courses conducted in a classroom setting (usually spread over four consecutive days).

Do Students Receive Any Materials When They Take An Osha?

Each student attending one of OSHA 30 hour training classes will receive their own copy of the OSHA standards for either general industry (CFR 1910) or construction (CFR 1926) as part of their course materials. In addition to covering Federal OSHA regulations, our OSHA-authorized 30 hour instructors also address state-specific OSHA requirements, where applicable. Students taking the OSHA 30 hour course for either construction or general industry can download and print out a free PDF study guide to use.

Do Students Get Any Type Of Osha 30 Certification Card Or Form When They Complete The Osha ?

When a student successfully completes OSHA 30 hour training (on site or in classroom), they will receive the official DOL/OSHA 30 hour course wallet card for either construction or general industry. Who Needs HAZWOPER 40-Hour Training?

Our 40-Hour training course is ideal if you are exposed (or potentially exposed) to hazardous waste and substances at work. Particularly, the training is a must if you’re an emergency responder or you clean, store, dispose, or treat hazardous materials.

Also, depending on specific safety standards, if you’re involved in hazardous waste operations or emergency response, you may be required to take a 24-Hour or 8-Hour Refresher course.

How do You Get a 40-hour HAZWOPER Certificate?

You achieve Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response certification upon completion of 40-hour HAZWOPER training.

What Is 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training?

Before you can enter or start work on an uncontrolled hazardous waste operation, you need to learn how to stay safe while handling dangerous chemicals.

Our comprehensive 40-Hour HAZWOPER course reviews a variety of topics that relate to Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), including site characterization, hazardous chemicals, radiation hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE), and decontamination methods.

Additionally, this course teaches you about best practices for safely handling and responding to emergencies that involve hazardous waste. Plus, you’ll increase your knowledge about OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3) standards.

The training also includes a module that reviews the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) so that you’re compliant with OSHA’s 2013 updates to the Hazardous Communication Standard.

HAZWOPER 8-HOUR REFRESHER TRAINING

The meets the requirements outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. This course covers an 8-hour annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. This course is for general site workers who complete tasks involving removing hazardous waste, exposure or potentially exposed to hazardous substances, exposure to health hazards.

ASBESTOS TRAINING

This Asbestos Awareness training will guide you through all aspects of Asbestos, from the hazards that are associated with Asbestos to how to protect yourself with safe work practices.

Our comprehensive course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasize key points and test your knowledge retention. The course has been designed to meet Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines, so by completing this training, you can improve your knowledge of an important part of workplace safety. This course has a final exam. Once you pass your exam, you will receive your certificates of completion (wallet & wall sized) *. Training may be paused or resumed at any time, is fully narrated, and includes interactive exercises to ensure understanding of course content.

Introduction to Asbestos
This learning objectives as well as an overview of the different types of asbestos, materials that may contain asbestos, and the differences between friable and non-friable asbestos.

Health Risks of Asbestos
Learn about the health risks of asbestos including primary health concerns, secondary effects of exposure, occupations that are at risk of exposure, medical surveillance programs, pre-employment medical exams, and asbestos work reports.

Risk Assessment & Controls
This area covers the assessment of asbestos as a health hazard in the workplace, exposure risk assessments, sample collection, classification of work, low/moderate/high exposure of risk, permissible exposure limits, notification, monitoring, and training requirements.

Safe Work Procedures
Learn about specific requirements for workplace procedures, regulated areas, inspection and monitoring, air sampling requirements, low exposure risk procedures, moderate exposure risk procedures, glove bag operations, high exposure risk procedures, decontamination, and waste disposal.

Asbestos Personal Protective Equipment
You will learn about the different forms of personal protective equipment that is used when working around asbestos. This includes different types of respirators, how to select the right type of respirator, and how to use your respirator. You will also learn about fit testing, emergency planning and preparedness, procedures for medical emergencies, and procedures for an asbestos emergency spill.

ADULT FIRST AID/CPR/AED

AERIAL LIFT/ELEVATED WORK PLATFORM

Course Description:
This course is for employees who operate an aerial lift (Scissor Lift/Boom Lift). This course will cover proper vehicle operation, the hazards of operating the vehicle in the workplace, and the requirements of the OSHA/MIOSHA Standard Part 32 for Aerial Work Platforms. A boom support and scissor lift will be utilized for this training. Upon successful completion, a Training Certificate is provided to the employer.

Course Description:
This course is designed for individuals working at height and offers an awareness of the issues involved with fall protection. This course focuses on the theory of fall protection and the need to protect workers at height. Participants are introduced to the legislation governing fall protection as well as the components of a fall protection system including holding devices, anchorages, connectors and rescue. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will receive a certificate acknowledging they have met or exceeded OSHA, ANSI and CSA requirements as an Authorized Person.
